Overview

"Eyes on Me" is an interactive installation that explores the transformative nature of the gaze and its influence on our perception of self and others. The act of seeing and being seen shapes our identities, blurring the boundaries between the self and the other. The installation delves into the complexities of this process, inviting viewers to contemplate the power dynamics at play and the interplay between self-perception and external observation.

The installation emphasizes the paradoxical nature of the gaze, as it both restrains and exposes the self. It creates a state of continuous visibility, where we are consciously aware of being observed, yet may also be unaware of the subtle changes it brings to our identities.

Through "Eyes on Me," viewers are prompted to reflect on their own gaze and its impact on their understanding of self and others. The installation encourages contemplation on the complexities of perception, self-awareness, and the dynamics of observation. It challenges viewers to consider how their own gaze shapes their identities and influences their interactions with the world.
